I would say that it is pretty safe to assume that most people in this world, especially business owners, aren’t fond of the idea of wasting money.

So, you click the button, and suddenly, the street corner is packed to the brim with people. 


There’s people getting in cabs, walking by talking to their friends, doing normal people things and you think “Wow, this is amazing! I am going to completely sell out of food now!”

But still, only a few people buy your food, and eventually, the street corner dies down, and you are thinking to yourself “What the f***? There were hundreds of people here and I barely sold anything!”


That is because the so-called ‘secret weapon’ that was able to fill the street corner to the brim, filled it with people who weren’t hungry

This is effectively how boost works

You might think that boosting your ads is going to ‘boost’ your sales, and it honestly seems like it would, because your ads are going to get a lot more likes and views, but it is being viewed by people who would never buy your product, ever!

Imagine if you could still grow your audience substantially, but you make sure that the ads are only seen by people who would buy your product. 


This is what the Meta ads tool is great at doing.


There are so many advanced features that the Meta ads tool uses, that you just don’t get access to when you boost your posts.
